I feel priviledged to welcome our students to Excellent Model College for Teacher Education.

The vision behind establishing this B.Ed. college in Satbankurs, Chandrakona Road was born out of a deep concern for educational equity in this remote area and teacher preparedness in remote regions of West Bengal. The journey demanded perseverance, as building a teacher education institution in such a location involved academic, administrative, and infrastructural challenges. However, the commitment to quality assurance, access, and inclusivity remained unwavering.

This institution follows NCTE-prescribed curricular frameworks and is guided by NAAC quality indicators, with a strong focus on outcome-based learning, learner-centric pedagogy, and continuous assessment practices. Through structured teaching practice, school internship, and reflective assignments, we strive to prepare future teachers who are professionally competent, ethically grounded, and responsive to diverse classroom environments.

We place special emphasis on faculty development, ICT integration, mentoring systems, and student support mechanisms, ensuring holistic professional growth. This college stands as a purposeful effort to strengthen teacher education while contributing meaningfully to community development and nation-building.
